Tell me why a Raptor is better than my 250x! hahahhaha . actually do tell me. I ride in trails that a 400EX just barely fits through in some places. Thats where i ride about 40% of the time. The other times i'm riding on jumps and other not so tight trails that about anything could fit through. Right now my 250x is just not exciting me at all. It is my first sport quad. I've ridden my buddies 400ex with a White Bros. R-series on it. And it just didn't seem a ton faster than my X. I've heard lots of good things about the Raptor power-wise. Although i know that a Raptor will fit in more places than an EX because of its size, i'm wondering its just too much power for riding in the woods! I rarely get out of 3rd gear on my X. Is the Raptor going to be able to be "contained" while riding on trails?

If you know how to ride you will have no trouble controling all the power.

when the RAPTOR came out and reading about it I just had to have it
I ride 90% trials and I love it.
I also use every bit of that power becuse i ride very hard even at 38!!!!!

The raptor is going to have plenty of power in the woods!! Now with that said if the trails are tight 1st and 2nd is all your going to need. Then on the straights you can hit 3rd and any other gears til you run out of room, Or get to the point of blinding speed and tree limbs or the sher force tries to rip you off the beast. Then you might want to slow down. Also you have to leave room to stop. later

I sold my 300Ex to get my Raptor. The Raptor has just plain more of everything. Power, suspension and handling. Don't regret selling my EX at all.

As long as u know how to use the clutch the power is very easy to control. And you will notice that the Raptor is a "ton" faster than a 250x.

I had a 250x for about 6 months (my brothers),
and I can tell you that it is like day and night,
when it comes to power, suspension, and handling.
Word of advice, get some 6-ply tires. The stock
ones have thin sidewalls.
