im thinking of maybe getting a used dirtbike what do u think i could handle?
im 15 and im like 115lbs and also only 5'4 - without boots-
i have a 1980 cr80 which is insane fast!- goes 74mph(got clocked)-no lie-fastest 80cc honda ever made! but i want something newer know what i mean? i only want a 2-stroke so im thinking of getting a 85cc,100/105cc or maybe a 125cc do you think i could fit on a 125? if so can any1 tell me some good info on it? thanks

get a cr125, might take a while getting used to it but youll grow into and keep it longer rather than getting an 85 or something.

+1 Just try sitting on and see what happens as far as fit goes.

believe it or not alot of people in AMA are very short and when they come to a stop they have to ride up next to something or they have to hop off and hold it or if ur not too short u can just lean to side with one leg holding u up. i wouldnt let height hold u back im sure you got alot of growing to do anyway. like dodge57hemi said first off just try sitting on 1 at a dealer or a friends then go from there, and if u can ride it. 125s are a blast to ride though very snapping high revving power and lightweight and manuverable.

i am not going to spend ANYTHING over $850 and i dont think that i could find any newer(like maybe yr 2000) 2-stroke other than a 800/85cc bike

for 850 you should be able to get a 90's cr125 even the late 80's are nice, they sell pretty cheap nowa days, hp numbers im not sure of but they accerlerate really fast and top speed is up in 70's im sure.

well what ive learned (because of my cr80) that the older bikes are WAY faster than the newer ones (stock for stock) so getting a older one scares me to death because my cr 80 can beat 125s all day! i just want something newer, better looking, and bigger-my 80 is just as small as a kx 65 and thats why i would like something bigger

i jumped froma110 suz (it was a mid 80s model & i think that was the size )to a kx 250 , i was 16 bout 5foot 6 and 150 lbs , but i wouldnt recomend that , i raced it & the bigger guys could throw it round better & i was n the back alot , i also got me a kx 125 later & done better when i raced , - id try to find a good 125 and get good on it , then step up to a 250 ( u will b able to ride a 125 alot longer than a 85)
