Default engine change and breather box removal

My son has kazuma 110 baby falcon he rode it with out checking oil motor ocked up. I replaced with coyote 110 go kart motor which is the same accept it is D-N-R instead of 1-2-3-N-R. I want to remov breather box that comes on falcon 110 and replace with a regular uni-filter.. Does anyone know what i need to do.

the main issues is making sure that the uni is on the carb and that it does not have any air leaks. All of the air needs to pass through the filter. sounds like you may have to fabricate somewhat to make it work. There is not more that can be said...using your imagination and coming up with a solution is all you need to know.

I was told that the relocation of the filter on a stock motor should not affect the performance of the machine. Try that before you do mess with the carb.

Thanks, that was my thinking also, i was told may have to adjust air mixture screw but no adjustments to carb itself

I think that going to a pod filter and away from stock air box you may need to re-jet. They breath much easier so you may need to go up on the main jet. If you are using a Uni they should have a tech line, give them a call and get their opinion.
