The Magnumn 500 air box lid has quite a bit larger air intake. Though I havent tried it looks like it would go right on. Might have to reroute the clutch air tube. Just a thought.

Silver: Just checked and the covers are the same so the Mag 500 air horn will fit. It's around $20

It looks like it would interfer with the air horn. Was going to try it with my wifes old 500 Mag before we sold it, but didnt get around to it. And no Magnums on the show room floor.
Its not as long so I am sure it is more prone to water intake.
Not going to try it on ours, we are tickled pink with the way they run as stock. Every time I try to make some kind of mild performance increase it takes twice as long an cost twice as much as I thought it would. The results wasn't worth the effort.

well i drilled a few holes in the tankside top of the airhorn to help breath alittle more.i doesnt seem to (suck)up against the plastic as much as before. i jetted up to a 155 and i have a slightly and i mean a slightly chocolate plug, i may have to go up to a 160 if i get this thing to breath better.
