welcome to the forums, i wouldnt suggest getting a banshee for what you do unless you have alot of 2 stroke smarts and your a diehard 2 stroker fan, a 400ex, z400, predator 500, or raptor660 would all be a good choice in my opinion, the 400ex you could get 4 prolly the cheapest and would last the longest, the z400 is a all around awesome quad, raptor 660 is a tractor bike and pretty reliable too. $4500 is a good bit to work with also, with that much you could easily get a 450 im sure, if i were you i would def try to get a used honda 450r with maybe a few mods on it already, there a few on ebay right now witha ton of mods for around that much. but the honda is definitely the most reliable 450 being as its the only unicam bike and its just a honda, as there always reliabe.

I would go for the YFZ or the 400EX. I think you would be happier with the YFZ because you don't want your buddy whooping your butt all the time.

Don't see any Banshees out on the trail any more, and I don't here anybody complaining about it. A 4 stroke would be easier to stunt ride wheelies and the YFZ has much better suspension for jumps.

You can find good deals on used 450's all the time. I see them on craigslist.com for $2800-3500 everyday. My buddy even has a '06 model that is tricked out with all kinds of Lonestar and Laeger parts , motor work including a big bore, you name it it's got it, and he's only asking $3500 for it.

ha thanks for the advice ..idk why but ive had a crazy obsession with the banshee since i was little ha probly the front of them and how quick them lil 2 strokes are!
ok now i do love honda's they are realiable at least mine has been.
my buddy's yfz 450 has been everything but realiable so i dont like them based on his exsperience. i do like the honda 400 ex and the 450r.
but i was wondering about the specs on them.
such as
-stock mph
-easy to tinker/upgrade (do it yourself)
-all around good quad stock.
