I replaced the starter last year and now the bendix is no good. Can anyone tell me if the flywheel has to be removed to get the bendix out or if there is a "trick" to removing it? I can get the front teeth passed the flywheel teeth but then the big washer hits the flywheel and the whole bendix gets stuck there. I have tried wiggling it around but I can't get it any farther? Any help is gretly appreciated!!!
