2009 Grizzly 350 Metallic Black.
This is my first four wheeler/atv. I've ridden dirt bikes when I was younger, now 33, so this is a very exciting experience for me.

So far I am simply in love with this machine. It's fast, easy to control even for a novice such as myself. I don't have a lot of hills around my house so it's all bumpy flat ground here. I'll have to go a few miles away to find some stuff to climb and get muddy hehe.
My son, 11, is able to control the monster relatively easy at slow speeds, and will not ride much solo, with me supervising of course. My girls (7 yr old twins) LOVE it to death. They are only riding with me, with proper safety gear of course. They LOVE going fast lol. So far I'm really really excited and happy with it.
I am already wanting to take it on a camping trip. Basically packing up some gear on the atv, going out and camping. Ride throughout the day, camp over night, etc. Sounds like a plan to me. I am going to get some other accessories for it. I'm probably getting a nice winch to put on it, being it's only 2WD.
If anyone can give me more suggestions on what they'd deem as a needed purchase for me, I'm all ears.

That is a nice little bike that you will get a lot of use and enjoyment out of. You will need a winch with about any ATV whether it is a 2WD or 4WD. If you don't want to spring for an electric one there are some hand crank available which will work on one the lighter machines. When I was using a smaller 2WD I just threw a "come along" on with some chain or rope. Until then you can take a good length of rope to wrap around your rear axle and "wind" it up and pull yourself out or take two lengths of rope and secure them to your tires and "ride" the ropes out. We have gotten tractors out this way using chains when nothing would pull them out. Your other "needed" accessories are going to depend on your own personal preferences and will become evident as you use it like storage and such.

I'll definitely want to get an electric winch. I'm going to have to get the proper gear to carry a small tent, sleeping bag, a few supplies, extra gas, things like that I guess.

I have bought quite a bit of stuff from Cabela's for my bikes, but there are a lot of discount places on the internet such as Rocky Mountain ATV, Dennis Kirk and others. I have also gotten a lot of good information at Grizzly CentralForums at Ahttp://www.grizzlycentral.com/forums/index.php
I am sure you will like your new bike and welcome to the world of ATV's.

I just rode about 7 miles through various types of surfaces... and through a few trails in the woods. All I can say is that I'm HOOOOOKED !
I forgot how much fun this stuff was. I am checking out those resources tripleR, and I appreciate all the help so far. I am going to be broke really soon ! lol
