slow jet question
#1
i poasted a while back that i ran out of richening adjustment (pilot jet) on my foreman 450. since the colder weather has struck i am very aware it is running lean. i ordred a larger #50 slow jet to replace the stock #45.
1. just makeing sure that the slow jet governs how much fuel is being put in the carb at idol-1/4 throttel. then the pilot jet can adjust that value as well?
2. is there any adjustment in the origional slow jet setting i am missing? im pretty sure you just skrew the slow jet in
like i said i just want to make sure im not overlooking anything. thanks alot in advance

I don't think the pilot jet goes all the way to 1/4 throttle though. Usually just off idle.

thank you doctorturbo 4 the quick responce! i was just makeing sure i hade everything strait in my head, its been a hectic holiday seasons! iv always been told pilot jet regulates your speed up to about 1/4 throttel. i would say that is true on my mechine, as soon as i go over 1/4 throttel i feel the needle rise and kick in. usually the needle jet opening is smoother no alot of mechines i ride.
thatnk alot!
thatnk alot!
