I have been running an ODP +4 swinger for the last couple years and I just realized that I don't have a front chain slider, are ya supposed to run one with aftermarket swingers?

 

Yep, just install a stock one on it.

 

I had mine on my ODP at first, but it never ran the chain right once I went to a 520 chain so I dumped it. Never had any trouble. No wear that I could see to be honest.

 

I'm glad you mentioned that because I'm running a 520 as well and I was wondering about that, also I put a new TM roller on and it was definitely made for a 530 because the lip on it has worn irregularly after the first ride, kinda milled itself down to fit the 520, hmmm...
