This topic has not been discussed for a few years but I was hoping to hear from anyone who has run the Armadillo +2 arms. Are they twitchy like factory early model arms on the DS. Does anyone know if their arms have a few extra positive degrees of castor? Thanks!

 

I've heard that the Armadillo's definitely improve the ride over stock A-arms. They are not caster adjustable at all though, but I'm pretty sure the angle they use is a better set up than stock anyway. I would look at American Stars for a if you want a less expensive a-arm set up.

 

Well, I have the ASR's now but would like to get me a few more inches of stability.

 

Yeah, ASR only offers +1, +1's which is better than nothing but if you want +2 the cheapest is Armadillo. Mine is around 52" right now. I'm running +1" Timmy Boys and offset front rims. I absolutely love the extra width haulin azz out in the dunes, I can take corners so much faster now!
