Yes indeed my man, K&N makes a filter that you can mount directly to your carb. You can buy it directly from Ron Woods. Clicky!!

There are 2 K&N that fit as direct mount. RW sells the SN-2550 I run the SN-2560 this has one more inch of filter length.

Jeff Ross clued me in on the intake set up, clamp on for more peak top end HP , the stock intake snorkle for all around torque, both will require new jetting.
Im trying out a new micro filter that flows as or better than a K&N and filters like a foam filter, sucker is 9" long and has a vortex at the end of it, heard nothing but good things on large bore 2 strokes, so I am waiting on dyno time to get 2 quads done.

Jeff says the cross over is around 6,000 RPM, in my testing on my build the high end gain more that more than offset the hit to the mid range.

Have you run it both ways to see how it behaves? I though the same as you until I testing it myself.

But its a moot point for this thread, the LTEs can't run the snorkle.

They both are, the SN-2550 is the one the Woods sells and the SN-2560 is the same in every dimension but the overall filter length is 1" longer for more airflow.
