I have an 04 Raptor 660R, recently its been cutting out when its at low RPM's..just when touching the throttle it cuts out and stalls. When I pull the clutch, it usually stalls. When I shift into neutral, it stalls. Sometimes I'll find myself hitting the choke just a bit to keep it from doing it, but it still stalls when I'm not on the gas. I took it to a local guy that I normally have work on my fourwheeler and he told me its electrical, it could be the coil or something else (which I probably forgot). Is there anybody that can shed some light on this problem, if it is a coil, or anything else? I really dont think its anything in the carb or fuel system because it always ran fine before this. if you give it full throttle and it stalls or just pops, it clould be that your petcock is clogged. check it by taking the fuel tube off the carb and blow compressed air through it (take the cap off the gas tank)
