hi everyone. just bought my first Quad. The 2008 Sportsman 400 H.O. started riding 1 year ago on my cousins ATV in northern Arizona and it was love at first ride. so I bought mine in November and have been modding since.

K&N filter/charger
Lock & Ride cargo box
Front Rack extender
Front Grill screen

All ordered from the polaris website which has been great. quick and painless. Next is the front brush guard. I want to get 2 offroad lights for night riding. But i don't see anything on Polaris site.

Any suggestions/ideas/other sites i could find them? looking for 2 round spot-types with blue halogen or HID. My cousin said he went in and asked the dealership where i purchased and they said polaris does offer lights to attach to the brushguard but i havent found them. does anyone know what he meant? wouldnt they be on the polaris site?

Thanks in advance for any input help. looking forward to years of riding and chatting with everyone here.

Wlcome to the forum Randy. At purepolaris.com when I searched for lights I only found them for Rangers and motorcycles. Nothing for quads.

I did a google search on PIAA off road lights, and there are tons of sites to look on for HID, halogen,LED's etc.

The Polaris catalogue has PIAA's,but list them as being for the XP..
I think they are the same as the ones for a Ranger like Frank was saying..
http://www.performanceeastinc....duct_595685.LIGHTS.htm
The Xp brush guard has mounting provisions...
Probably be best to get a kit with sometype of universal mount...PIAA makes a universal mount kit...
That or add a custom mount to the brush guard..

randymack,

One other thing... I have the Polaris Xenon lights for mine. I don't see them in the Polaris catalog anymore. However, if you check around at some Polaris dealers, you may find a set. For $25 they are a nice upgrade over the stockers. I'm not sure they will fit your lights, so check to be sure first.

Or get the HID kit like Rutcutter has...those look to be very bright..and I think he said the kit he has is pretty much plug and play..

Yep, if they are indeed plug and play for the 400, they would be the best "bang for your buck".

EDIT: But the PIAA's just look COOL! LOL
