$5500 each there new 2007's is that a good deal? Was there any changes (for the good) in 2008-2009?

nope only thing they changed were the colors of the wheels & bumper. $5500 is not that great of a deal since new 09's retail for $5999.

 

Of course $5999 plus tax and so forth!

Seems like that's a better price for the dealer than for you.

 

I have to agree, the price is terrible. My buddy bought a 2005 raptor 450 (I am pretty sure it is) last summer for 1800. They wanted 2500 he talked them down. Price is way to high. Oh yea that was 1800 but if had custom everything, wheels exhaust air cleaner handle bars, and he got a helmet.

 

I paid under $5k out the door for mine so I'd say buying 2 should grant you a bit more of a break.

That is only on 1.....no haggling no multiple discount. Your dealer should be able to do better. OF course there are regional price differences but being 2yrs old...you should save atleast a thousand.

 

Thanks for the info. they'll be hurting more in a few months up here, I'm in no hurry, so maybe the prices will come down!

 

Yeah I just purchased mine for $5999 and it's an '09. I'm sure you can do alot better with one that is a couple years older. Look around and see if you can print something out to bring to them.
