My cousins are all honda people and there 450's break on a regular bases but they dogged on me for trying something different i did have a 450r and a built 400ex.And now my ds there hondas have so many problems now, i know most of the time honda for me has been the most reliable but there quads are falling apart .I think some problems are apart of that they dont upkeep and take care of there quads.My ds is still up an running i wish i still had my 450r though just amazing powerband but i feel more at home on my ds being im such a big guy(265lb's)..My ds feels more "durable" sorta speak than my 450r did.But she is a heavy pig.But someone here in Indiana has to bring the fat girl too the dance right....lol Just havent posted in awhile and lettin you guys know while most are brand jumping im here too stay.Can-Am for life!

 

I hear ya! I am fairly new to the DS also, and the thing is, once I had my paddle tire situation figgered out, I am happy with the bike, I have no overpowering urge to go mod this or that, I just want to go and ride it!!

Feels weird... odd, in an empty sort of way.... Maybe my wife will let me put a lift kit on her lexus to satisfy my need to modify...

 

I too love my old girl! LOL! I had a blast on it at Glamis this last weekend!

 

The DS is by far my favorite out of all the ones I have owned/ridden!

SURE LOVE MINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is a heavy weight, no diet here. wouldn't trade it for any other. after a 180+ mile ride through the desert...... i am not sore or stiff, maybe tired but still ready to ride. and its FAST too !

 

I am with you as well, can't beat the DS. I will never get ride of it. Have way too much money in mods now - don't even want to add up the bills - LOL.
