that's it. it is not a yamaha. I want to buy it but my concern is parts or repair. it appears to be an off brand bike. if the carb needs work i wonder how and where to get parts.

My guess is that it is a Baja Motorsports Dirt Runner 49cc:

Here's the parts catalog for it:

My nephew had a Dirt runner 125. It was OK...Never had to try to get parts for it though....He wound up getting a 05 crf150 instead.

I have a 2005 baja 50 too. Its a fun little bike and all but be warned...... The air filter is crap. The kids ran it through mud and stuff and before I got to servicing it they sucked in too much dirt and now it smokes the blues! So I need new rings I guess. It nees a little shield or something so the mudd doesn't fly off the back tire and into the foam air filter!! Better yet take the stock air filter off and find a little clamp on one. I wish I would have done that right when we got it!
There is a form on the web that has lots of info on these little things. I can't remember the name of the darn website right now. Anyway there was guys there that were doing little mods. on them.
