My wife's 2006 Rancher ES battery died over the summer. Just before it died the display stopped showing what gear your in. I figured this was becuase the battery was dieing so I replaced the battery today, about 5 months later and the display still doesn't show the gear your in. It shifts fine, the neutral and reverse lights work fine and the electric shift works fine. the time of day and everything else on the display works fine.........It's just the gear that doesn't show up. Does anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it. The ATV only has about 20 hours of use since we purchased it.
