400ex a arms on 250x
#4
what year 250x ? the old 80's models yes they fit its almost identical to a 300ex but youll need a shock relocater braket buy or build and 400ex tie rods (juist need rods ..the ends are compatible)
and you can use 400ex,blaster,banchee,warrior,raptor shocks with the correct braket ....
.
juist for proof a pic of my 300ex with 400ex front arms and 400ex front shocks with my homade braket....
.

.
and a close up of my braket
.

.
and yes they are wider about 1inch per side....dont sound like much but makes a big difference in handling

very helpful, stephen,
to answer your question, yes the a arms will bolt up, and as "Y" has stated, a shock relocation bracket is needed to run the longer 400ex shocks, I have the same setup on my son's 300ex, almost twice the shock travel, handles better, and needed no other parts, the 250x frame is the same as the 300ex, so you should have no problems, got all my parts off ebay cheap, and the adapter bracket as well.
