Hey my buddy has a Banshee that's just been sitting in his garage that he doesn't use that I picked up. It hasn't been started in a couple years and I'm not much of a mechanic so what would be the best procedure to flush the fluids and stuff? And are there any good instructional sites for changing out an 05 350cc Banshee's spark plugs?

Is there more to it than just that to get it running or what? Help a new guy out! Thanks.

If it has been sitting that long, you will need to drain the fuel tank and make sure it is clean before refilling with fresh fuel. You will want to remove and clean the carbs. When gas sits that long it forms a varnish coating in carbs, more so with 2stroke gas mixed with oil. Also replace fuel filter and spark plugs and check and clean the air filter. Definitely have a look at all the rubber hoses to make sure none of them are dry rotted or cracked. Lubricate the cables, lube and adjust the chain. Its not something for the inexperienced mechanic to do. I would seriously consider taking it to a reputable shop and let them do it.
