Default front brake hub is wobbily

I installed new front brakes on 2000 foreman 400 4x4. Installed axle nut but drum is still wobbily. Any help is appreciated. The other side tightened up fine.
Thanks.

Question?
Do I need to remove the entire knuckle to get to the bearing or is there a shortcut?

Remove the lower shock bolt and lift the shock upward. Remove the lower ball joint nut and smack the knuckle on the side where the taper bolt goes through to break the taper. Remove the axle nut and brake drum. Swing the knuckle up and pivot away from the axle. Pull the axle to get it out of the way to give you room to remove and install bearings and seals.

Yup me too and I found out last night, I also need to order right front seal and bearings for my Rancher 420 also the front left bottom a-arm ball joint that goes into the knuckle has play so I'll replace that too. And thanks for the tip Gimpster I was about to remove the whole thing.

The lower ball joint on the 420 will not break free by pounding on the side of the spindle. Hitting the threads with a loose nut on them does not work eather. Honda makes a special tool to pop them loose. Expensive though. I use my chevy steering arm remover to push the ball joint stud out of the lower spindle by tentioning up the puller bolt and hitting the head of it with a big hammer and having a prybar between the spindle and control arm at the same time.
I don't know why Honda went with such a goofy spindle design in that aspect
can be a real PITA
