Kazuma owners help me out.

First post here. I'm buying my 5yo dghter a quad for her next birthday. I'm looking into Kazumas and they seem to have a decent parts availibility in various websites. This is where it gets confusing though. There are a ton of online vendors of quads and parts. Some are the same site with a different header. Some sites claim to the the only authorized online dealer, even though their website links to someone else. Some are small dealers that are nowhere local to me. To anyone that has purchased one of these quads online, where did you get it and how was the experience? Have any of you used any of the online parts houses? Who were they and how was that? Thanks in advance.

Personally I would purchase one from a local dealer that you could talk to face to face. My sister bought one of the go karts and had a little trouble with the electric choke sticking and causeing the motor not to run. I tried to research Kazumas when she had this issue and there are a lot of people out there that dont like them. Other than the choke issue and the fact that alot of the bolts vibrate loose, hers is doing ok. She got the coyota 150

In my area there are no local dealers. They are sold out of parking lots during the Christmas season. When they need more to sell they drive to Atlanta to pick up some more. I bought my two on line here http://www.bestpriceatvs.com/ in Dec. 2007. Free shipping. Ordered one green and one pink camo. Both were green. No response when I e-mailed them about it. I've bought clutch here. http://www.loncin.ca/parts.aspx No problem.
You must be mechanically inclined to keep one of these china quads running. Make sure you read what's on this site about china quads.

Sorry you missed the part where I said I have no local dealers.

Mechanically inclined is not an issue with me. I've read up a ton on the chinese quads and I'm familiar with what they need to keep running and not losing bolts. I actually have already had the pleasure of working on a few for friends and I do believe they're not a bad product as long as you maintain them as they require. Thanks for your input. I'll check out those sites.

I bought mine from www.racewayatv.com and they have been wonderful to deal with. When I had a problem with the title they sent with it and I had a new one in a couple of days, when I needed some extra info on the bill of sale to satisfy the DMV, I had one in my hands within a week. I initially chose them because they are about the closest dealer to me but I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them from a thousand miles away. The only issue I've had with the 90 I bought is that the stock battery was a total piece of junk, cranked slow right from the start and died in 6 months. A new (better quality) one cost me $45 to my door and I haven't had a problem in the 3 months since then.

John</end quote></div>Thanks for the input. After a ton of reading and calling one online dealer, I know who not to go with. I'll save the bashing for the other people, but I was wondering why someone needs at least 3 different websites with different names that all link to the same checkout. Definitely not going with that guy.
I'm pretty much decided to go with raceway based on their reputation on different boards, but they're not carring kazumas anymore, it looks like. I'm trying to contact them to discuss a few of their Jetmotos, but they never answer the damn phone! I hope I don't get impatient with them, but I'm tired of calling.
