I had some more bad luck today, but it might be helpful to you.

I was riding hard today when I smelled something burning and i looked everywhere and couldn't find anything so i decided it was a little oil on the side of the engine that i spilt when i added some oil. About 30minutes later i finally found it when my quad died. When i kickstarted it back up my kickstart made a ding when it came back up. I looked and all the plastic near the kicksart was melted and the pipe right up against it. The plastic hadn't moved but the dg alloy muffler was bent to heck. I mean the pipe part had a major dent in it and it was pushed in about 4inches. At first i though the disc had hit it but it was more forward than the disc. Nothing could have hit it. I've come to the conclusion that earlier that day a rock popped up and hit it. I took it and the headpipe off and put the stock back on. The only difference is that it is now way rich. As far as i can tell the low end isn't hurt. I havn't had a chance to see if i lost my top end. I'm saying don't buy dg get something else. As soon as i ride it again i'll post again.
