I am looking at buying a 2005 arctic cat 250 quad. i haven't checked it out personally, but the guy tells me it needs a transmission. no other details. said the dealer will charge 600 to repair it. he wants 600 for the quad. does this sound like a good deal or am i looking for trouble? my 300 is a great quad, and would like to add to the collection for one of the kids. is it a common type of thing or rare problem having the trans go out?
