Default New Polaris Owner with Question

I recently purchased a 2008 500 X2. I was thinking about replacing the stock rims. I was looking at 14" Vision Bruiser or 14" Black Crusher rims. Would i need to use spacers or do any other mods? Or can i just put the new rims and tires on the X2? thanks for the help. Also any opinions on my choice of rims would be great too.

Really depends on the size of tire you are going with. Normally a new tire/rim combo will have the right offeset specific for machince. Nice looking rims though.

Don't get those rims, whatever you do, cuz they'll look better than mine! LOL! Really, though, those are sweet rims. Like GAS said, the new rims have the right offset to fit the tires with no spacers. The only reason you should have to use spacers is if you used the stock rims. However, with 14" rims you will likely need a lift kit for clearance. I wish they would have had 14's availabe when I bought mine last year, much better looking. Anyone in the market for a set of ITP SS108's (12 inch) with 26" mudlites? LOL!

I have 14" rims with 27" tires (check pics). You don't need a lift kit, but if ya go any bigger than 27" tires you will require a lift kit.

I have 12" Vision wheels on my 2007 X2. They are 12x7 with the original 4+3 offset. Still running the 25" tires but will switch to 26's when the stock rubber wears out. It shouldn't make a difference running 14" wheels as long as the offset is 4+3. I think all Vision wheels with a 4/156 bolt pattern have that offset. BTW, I really like mine. Check out the pics.
