Default Stupid question...

Forgive my ignorance... I'm more of a diesel guy... is it normal for the end of the spark plug wire (the cap that plugs onto the top of the plug) to spin freely on the end of the cable? I can spin it easily with my hand. 95 Sportsman 400 2 stroke.

they are a replaceable cap. there is a threaded cone in the cap that allows the cap to be "Screwed" into the wire making the electrical connection. they only bad thing with these is taht eventually it will spread the wires out causing the connection to break. just cut about 1/4" off the plug wire and reattach your cap

That did it... pretty simple to see once I took the cap off. I went ahead and picked up a new cap while I was out ($6) and read this once I got back. Another no-brainer solution to keep in mind in the future.
Thanks!
