Default New ITP Wheels and Tires

An outstanding member (660kodiak) on another site pointed out this info. Thought I would pass it along here...

ITP Tires and Wheels

The new tires are the BajaCross and the TundraCross.
The new wheels are the SS312 and System Six... they are kind of cool.

Yea cc... the tires are pretty nice... and pretty "pricey" I bet. The studs on the Tundra Cross really make it a task specific tire. I be those Ultra Cross tires would be an excellent snow tire.

Interesting that those System Six wheels only come in 14"... must be targeting XP and UTV owners.

I am pretty sure its more UTV focused, that utra cross is directed right at the UTV market as well. Most of the 14" stuff seems pretty UTV focused so far. It shows in there offset offereings quite often. The UTV seem to really need more offset to gain stabilty where the 850 is pretty wide for a quad as it is, and it can be pretty tough to find a decent offset for the 850s.

Yea, I agree... mostly marketed towards the UTV. However, I think the Maxxis Bighorns and ITP TerraCross started out the same way.... correct?

The Terra may have been, but the Big horns were on the market well before the sporyt sides by side were on the market. If memory serves the BHs came out about 2 or 3 years prior to the Rhino. I think the Bias ply BH came out in 1999 or 2000 and the radials were 2001 or 2002. If not mistaken the Rhinos first hit the market in 2003 as 2004 models. Hard to believe the way the industry has exploded like it has in just the past 5 years.
