hi, i am looking to buy a dmc double barrel pipe for my 2001 400ex and i was wondering how everyone lkiked it,., i know its loud, but that dont matter, im just looking for a good performance pipe.... so how does this ruyn for ya??? its used and he is gonna sell it for 250 and put it on for me... what do ya thinK??

It's one of the best high performance full systems on the market...especially for 250 bucks! That's a steal.

 

I had a big power gain over my old fmf pipe jump on that one

 

The DMC pipe is one of the best exhausts available for the 400EX. The pipe works even better with engine mods. I would highly recommend the full system.

 

I have one on my 400EX and i love it. It pulls harder from bottom to top and i gained around 5 mph on top-end. They are not made by bigger name company, so they don't get all of the hype alot of the other pipe makers get. To me it is one of the better if not the best pipe out there. This pipe, combined with a high compression piston and bigger cam, makes your 400EX pull really hard all the way to the rev-limiter.

Yeah they make DMC for 300ex its on rocky mountain i forget how much though.
