I have a 2001 recon and am looking to mod the hell out of it and want to start by making it start in any gear, but because i am an idiot, i can't figure out how to do this. My Friend has a foreman 450s an wants to do the same modification to his quad, help!

I, as well, would like to see the wiring diagram if for nothing else to study it.

Many thanks.

My 300ex (which i bought used) will start in any gear except reverse as long as i have the clutch pulled in. Isn't this normal, or did the previous owner modify the wiring to let it do so?

This may be a stupid question but why would you want to start in any gear. Is it if you stall it or is neutral just to hard to find? If you have an automatic clutch wouldn't it just jerk on you and die if you tried to start it in gear? I'm sorry, I had to ask.

Yes it is hard on your clutch. If you dont' do it right you can also short something out.
