Default Polaris trailblazer pull start

Anybody know how to rewind a pullstart rope i cant seem to get tension on it?

did you make sure the spring wasnt broke or unhooked?

no where do you check to see if the spring is unhooked?
and thanks for the quick response as i am working on this as we speak
Does the tension go to the right or left it seems the right but im not sure

the spring should be under the recoil. when you pull the rope little dogs extend out to catch the starter and turn over the crank. when you pull on the rope it should show you which way it goes as it would be tightening up the spring when its pulled then when you let the rpe back in the tenion should unwind on the spring causing the rope to go in. hard to explain but if its off in your hands you might be able tyo tell better. imo.
