Want over 100 hp out of banshee!
#1
Who makes turbo kits for the banshee? And who makes a fuel injection kit mechanical or electronic for the banshee? Wanting over 100hp and very drivable. Wouldnt a turbo motor be more reliable than a 500+cc motor. thanks

Some of the guys here may remember the 130hp turbo Banshee in the Feb issue of Dirt Wheels. This thing is AWESOME! And im not just saying that because of the article, but i was at Imperial sand dunes when they broke this thing out. This guy was racing some very fast Banshees and even some quads with streetbike engines in them.I remember one race in which he lined up between to Banshees, one of them was a 477 and the other was a 512.The guy on the turbo Banshee gave them both a 5 quad head start, at the end of the race he had beaten them both by the length of a school bus or more. From what i understand it is very reliable.

Don't forget about Rotax cylinders. I don't remember who makes them, but they did put out more than 100hp. Just for example, a 670 Rotax puts out 124hp (or so), a 440 97hp, and a brand new 800 140hp. But those are crank measures.

Rotax makes rotax cylinders, believe it or not. The trick is finding someone capable of fitting them on the banshee.
Pricewise, the alba kit is way out of line, check out A&S Racing at www.bansheeracing.com.

laugh, my boy, laugh.
oh well, that's what happens when you're tired. I think it was rather meant to be "Rotax cylinders, I don't know who fits them on the shee". Does this sound better?
