My buddy bought a banshee and is getting mixed answers on what mixture to run.

What % do you run?

What aftermarket oil works well?

I run 32:1 maxima super m in premium pump gas. 32:1 seems perfect but I wouldn't go higher than 40:1 unless you're drag racing.

Opti 2 stoke @ 100:1 w/ 92 oct. fuel.I ride mostly trail and fireroads, with a bit of MX Yamaha recommends a 24:1 yamalube "R". Or a 20:1 Castrol R30, A545, A747

I run 32:1. I even tried the 24:1 that yamaha says to run. Ya right! The thing fouled plugs every tem minutes.

When you buy the oil does it tell you the ratio on the container? If so does that ratio work for the Banshee? Is the Banshee really picky with the ratio as far as messing up your engine?

Thanks
