Default AWD and ADC Question

Because the Active Decent Control on my 07 800 Sportsman only works when in AWD, and the all wheel drive is "on Demand", is it OK to leave the AWD on all the time while riding trails where you don't necessarily need all wheel drive but want the ADC for the steep down hills? I really like the way the ADC works. Most times I have to give it a little throttle even on really steep hills or it will just stop! I just don't know if it is better to switch the AWD on and off at every big downhill, or just leave it on.

Default AWD and ADC Question

It will hurt nothing to leave awd on at all times..It only engages when rear tires break traction..

Default AWD and ADC Question

the newer style awd is like the newer cars and only goes in to awd when it senses wheel spins so it does not hurt anything.

Default AWD and ADC Question

I'm almost always in AWD. Only time I take it out is in tight turns, or where I don't want to tear things up while in Turf mode.
