Considering Suzuki 750, T-cat 1000 and Polaris xp 850. Any recommendations? Looking for comfort, power and control. Only reason the Suzuki is in the running are the great deals currently out there for Suzuki and I grew up with a 300 King Quad. Was a great bike back then.

850 is supposed to be king dingaling more power,14" wheels, power steering( i think),ect... Ive only owned arctic cats(they offer what i want in an atv) but im just not a fan of the t-cat. no power steering, lack of power for a 950 and i just expect more for the price. 750 is a great bike, good power, more than youll ever need really. Even though the others offer more. Since i havent rode any of them i cant really judge.

I know the Polaris and Suzuki have power steering as options. If the XP's ride is anything like my X2 it will be very comfortable for long rides. I don't know that much about the ACs.

The Suzuki 750 is the bang for your buck camp of big bore ATVs. They have all the options that count such as IRS,Diff lock, low range even Power steering if you want. No way I would pay 700$ extra for Power steering myself,I never rode a ATV that was that hard to steer.

A 750 Suzuki only retails for $200 more than a mid size XP 550! believe it or not.

KQ 750 vs XP 550 M.S.R.P

I will throw in my .02 of those you have listed I would say the new Suzuki 750 w/ps. Give all them a try and go with the one that works best for you. Deff give the ones with Power steering a shot there is alot more advantage to them than just easy steering such as anti kickback!

With respect to pricing, I am in Canada so my prices are a little higher given the exchange rate. I can pick up a new 09 Suzuki for about $10,000 but I can pick up a brand new non-current 2008 Suzuki 750 for about $8500 whereas the 09 polaris xp 850 limited edition nuclear sunset with power steering is about $11,500. Sweet looking bike. Keep in mind those are canadian prices (exchange is roughly 25%). Could get a good deal on a Canam 800R but I don't like the 4wd system on it.

I like the size of the polaris, the fact that is has added storage (suzuki has smaller less useful racks), has a vtwin (compared to the suzuki single). Also I know that the ride and comfort on the polaris is hard to beat.

I don't know a whole lot about the T-Cat other than I'm told it is out of this world power wise. They have kept the hp secret but I believe it is more than the polaris' 70 hp. Don't know how the ride is though.

I don't mind a heavier, more powerful bike because most of my riding is on old logging roads and I need to keep up with a Brute 750 and a Rzr.

Thanks

The Polaris is the top dog in HP as of right now!

The Polaris will be a much better machine than the AC due to a much better designed suspension that can stand up to the amount of HP it puts out. As far as staying up with a Brute goes though a great machine the Bute lacks a good suspension to go with agreat engine simaler to the AC but not as bad, therfore the 750 Suzuki will make up in suspension in what the brute gains in HP! All machineins including the Outlander are built to go anywhere you want therefore get the one you like. I would not worry to much about the 4x4 system in the Can-am it wiorks good my only issue is the frame design but that can be fixed with a set of skids that IMO should have came with the quad from the get go just like my Grizz!

Have heard good things about the Canam but frankly you shouldn't have to reinforce anything on any bike. I had heard about frame buckling issues. That's too bad because it will keep me away plus I went into the dealership and was ignored so I won't be going back. Will likely also stay away from the T-Cat because it's so new and the dealers I've been to don't have them in the showroom. They said if you want one we can order one but I refuse to buy one sight unseen.

Would like to drive a suzuki before I pass judgment on it. I worry though that a single that size might not last like the polaris vtwin.

Am leaning heavily towards the polaris because the bike is an absolute tank.
