400ex vs a 300ex with upgrades

400ex vs a 300ex with upgrades
i have never rode a 400ex but had a 300ex that was jetted with a DG pipe and k&n air filter. anybody know if a stock 400ex is still faster than a 300ex with those upgrades?

Unless the 300 has a race modded motor, the 400 will chew it up, spit it out, and then take a dump on it just for spite !!!

a 300ex modded to the fullest i belive will might a stock 400ex by just a little, but as far as with those upgrades, you better pray the 400ex your racing has transmission trouble halfway through the race...
