new guy with scrambler ???s

Default new guy with scrambler ???s

I just bought a two stroke scrambler. the guy said its a 96 but the heads have 350 on them. i dont know much about atvs but did they make a 350 scrambler? or are the heads the same ? any help will be appreciated.

I don't think they made a 350? one quick question would be the word *heads* should only be one head on a single cylinder engine. Scramble 400 was a single 400 my Xplorer has the same engine in it and it says 400 right on the top of the head.

Some where along the line a 350 could have been swap into it.The 350 and 400 are basically the same.But a 400 has more power

sorry i did mean single head. the spark plug threads are messed up so i need a helicoil. which gaskets do i try to buy? the head does say 350 on it. i was wondering if someone swapped just the head if they interchange.

91-early 94 were 350Ls 94-up were 400s and they are a easy swap.I would bet yours was swaped out at on time.

ok so i am most likely gonna buy parts for a 350L. I was thinking maybe he swapped out the head if they were the same. also is this a solid motor?

Just as good as a 400 but a little less power.I dont think the heads will interchange

ok.i am still a little confused. but i think its probably a 350L. the transmission and everything else will mount to this motor with no problem? Thank you already for th quick responses.

From the parts break down the heads are dif.
