Default Honda trx420 lift kit

I want to install a 2" lift on my 420 but I can't get a straight answer on if I need front wheel spacers on it. One dealer says yes, another said no, the lift kit box said yes. I will be adding 25" mud lite tires when I am done.
Has anybody used a lift kit and did you need front wheel spacers?
Any and all comments are apreciated...

Thanks in advance...

Sorry after rereading my original message i realized how unclear I was. I use my quad alot on very rocky surfaces and need the clearance so I don't get high centered.

I will be adding the lift kit what I need to know is do I have to spend the $100 on the spacer kit to bring the front wheels out? Or will they hit or rub somewere?

Thanks in advance.

i had 28x10.5x12 outlaws on mine and they would only rub on my winch when i turned sharp to the right, thats because thats the side that the winch motor stuck out of the fram on. i have pics if you want to see my rancher with those tires on it

You said you run 28" tires on yours, do you run a honda 420?

Did you notice alot of power loss going from 24" to 28"? Alot/alittle?

I was only going to go to 25" but I may think differently...

Thanks...

Rhe 420 can run 27" tire with no noticable power loss.
