The 650 Rincon is liquid cooled, 4 valve engine with a 3 speed auto similar to an automotive auto (torque converter), and independent rear suspension.
They are known for long term reliability, and for excellent ride over rough terrain, and good handling.
The transmission is pretty high geared, however. Mainly I wish it had a low range on super-steep decents. Engine braking starts at about 6 mph, but a really steep downhill would have you doing about 12 w/o using brakes. A Foreman or Rubicon could hold 2-3 in low gear. Mud bog types who go bigger than 27" moderate tread tires usually end up putting a gear reductioni kit in it.
For some it is really annoying to have to use brakes on steep downhills.
In a nutshell, the Rincon can be used for mud bogging or working, but it is in it's element as a trail quad in rough conditions.
