Default 2005 SPORTSMAN 500 RUNS LIKE CRAP

Hello All , Back with another question . Does anyone know why this machine starts running like crap when I go up an incline ? On flat ground it runs fine . It just started doing this . I have had the machine on steep slopes and it has never bogged before . Changed plug and filters . Any clues ?

Don't know much about Polaris but it sounds like a bowl level issue in the carb?

it could be a float bowl out od adjustment issue. did you try pulling the choke to see if it runs better up the hill? if it does its a lack of fuel issue and most likey a float need to be adjusted, imo

Check for trash in the carb float bowl, water in same or water in fuel filter. You may have water in, or blocked vent tubes too, so check those. And a WAG, you may have water in your muffler, depending on the last time you played submarine with your quad.

Check for water in your airbox and filter too.
