Default Shoppin for big bore. Need opinions!!!

Alright so im back on the market for a new quad i've been riding an 07 700 grizz for nearly two years and sold it to my parents i loved it its an amazing machine; comforable, powerful, awesome in the muskeg and mud with 27 inch mudlite xtrs. however, is it all that much better than what else is out there. it is the slowest big bore according to some pro reviews but i've worked over plenty of cats and polaris tanks without much hassel. my other choices would be either a brute 750/650 or possibly a bomb 800. im riding between nasty muskeg and dry trail with the occasional mud hole. the polaris, hondas, and arctic cats are way out of the question they are stupid heavy its unreal. the bomb has the power but its primative, has poor breaks and is also quite heavy. the kawi is a good machine just the 750 has poor handling and my friends 750 has burnt several belts i like the 650 but im lookin for more power. i've read some reviews but i really want an honest opinion from someone who rides these kind of trails and what seems to work the best

Check out Hot Rods. Same company that makes Hot Cams. They have some great products. Stroker kits and reg big bore kits. You should be able to find anything you need through them

I have an 08 Grizz 700 FI EPS and I wouldn't trade it for any of the others. The Griz is king in my book. I don't think you will find another quad out there that can match it all around.

I have an 08 Griz. If I were to replace it I would look long and hard at the suzuki 750 with power steering

I haven't been around the 750 yet, what is it about the Zuke interests you? I don't think that I have even looked at one yet. I think I will go and check it out now.

I just did a bit of comparison shopping and the only subjective advantage that I see with the Zuke is the wet brakes in the rear. To the disadvantage as far as I am concerned is: the Suzuki has .8 inches less ground clearance, it is 2 inches longer, an inch wider, has about .5 in higher seat. The physically larger is not good for me. I wasn't able to find the suspension travel specs for the Suzuki either. But for me the Yamaha is a clear winner on paper.

I just feel that the grizzly is too high geared for the type of trail riding I do. I had a 660 before this and the gearing was lower which made it better for the riding I do here in north Idaho.
