'00 TrailBoss 325 no start..
#1
Hey fellas!
A bit of back story first....My GF's parents have two '00 TBoss 325s that they keep at thier house in Mexico. I brought them back to do a bit of mainenance on. Changed oil/filter, trans fluid, new plug, A/Filter, primary belt...
Now one of them won't start. It cranks fine, but no fire. If I hold my hand over the carb inlet it will kinda stubble to life for about two seconds, then dies. A bit of starting fluid, same deal. Seamed to start fine before..the other one starts w/o even using the choke.
Any ideas?

Have you checked to see if you're getting a consistent spark? Try swapping plugs between the two. That's the easy part.
From the service manual, here are a few things to check;
Restricted tank vent
Restricted fuel line
Plugged fuel filter
Carb vent line restricted
Plugged or restricted inlet needle and seat screen or inlet passage
Float stuck
Float level too low
Fuel pump inoperative
Air leak at impulse line
Restriced or pinched impulse line
Intake leak
Ruptured diaphram
Just a few things to look at.

Thanks!
How common are fuel pump failures? I removed the carb feed line from the pump and gravity fed fuel to it and it started fine?
The vaccum line seemed to be pulsing well (I guess, nothing to refer to..not taking the other one apart ). The fuel filter didn't look too old, I could easily blow through it, and there was fuel up to that point. Could one of the little diaphrams in the pump give up and only allow it to draw fuel but not push it?
