Default need help, has anyone done this????

i have a 1998 500 scrammy 4x4, my front axle recently poped out of the cv joint while driveing and completly rounded the splines off on the axle, my question is can i just leave the cv joint in the strut and drive it as a 2x4? if anyone has ever done this please let me know if this works

thanks alot

Look in my photo gallery. My nephew broke his off and still rode the rest of the weekend. Knowing him, it probably still needs to be fixed, and that was 2 years ago.

I was a sales person of nst inc, no more now.
One of my dealer Expressatvs http://expressatvs.com handles a great service to it customers, the reason I knew that, because I supplied the parts to them.

You can buy a new axle for it from the c-v man on e-bay for under $200 bucks.
