i have a 2006 sportsman 800 that runs great tell it gets hot not over heated just hot.if i shut it off or just let it idle when its hot it dies then if i let it sit a wile it fires up and runs great or if i dont shut it off and ride it hard it runs all day but soon as i try to stop for a brake thets it it wont run again tell it sits for half hour.i have tryed alot of things but nothing works i just dont no and my polaris shop here is lost.i rapped my tank thing it was getting hot.i put a new throttle position sensor.ecu.wire harness.crank sensor.heat sensor.i just dont get it why does it stay running when i ride but die when it idles.i really need help

 

check the fuel pump. some of them were breaking down after they got hot. when it shuts off and you try to start it again, listen to see if you hear the fuel pump cycle when you turn the key on before you start it.
