Has the Raptor won any big races yet?

 

It's a wonder if the DS 650 will be a legend in it's own time like the 250R?
I'm lovin my DS more and more each day!

 

If the raptor did win any races you can rest assured it would be on every billboard,magazine cover ,and everywhere yamaha could afford to put it .

 

I have to agree with Kelly. I haven't heard of any Raptor wins, and as I think about it, had the Raptor even won a race up Competition hill at Glamis the magazines would have full 12-page reviews (it got a 6- page review for LOSING) on the machine which did it. Not to mention Yamaha would probably pay every major newspaper for a full page ad.

 

I would not call the raptor a LOSER because it did not win the Baha 2000 in my book any quad that finished the race is a huge winner. And even if it did not make it all the way to the end should that make it a bad quad. But i also do think that it gets to much hype every were but think about when the DS came out every were you would hear about the big bad DS the same when the 400ex came out that is all you heard about. Hay i think that the more new HiPo quads that come out the better it is because then we can maby get new quads.

 

oh yea dont forget the nevada 2000 either

 

i know this is a old post but i was just seachin around just thought id let you know that they aren't the only brave men since then last year my dads dunan racing shee won not no ds from the states just shows that 2 strokes can still win they were second that year 2 bad we lost to that ds oh well i don't get to go to the 24h this year probably next i do get to go to some 6h races thos anyways lata
