Default xp gun rack

Ya i know it blocks the headlight but it only takes a couple of minutes to remove the 4 bolts. it sure sucks that polaris didnt make the rack extender mount on the front storage box. the reason i didnt use one of those gun boots is because my barrel length is too long to fit so i had to come up with another way. I bought a new welder and have been going nuts building stuff, my next project will be a chainsaw mount that mounts using the lock and ride and mounts off the back of the wheeler so bar oil doesnt get on my rack. i will post pics when i get it done. happy trails!!!!

Nice rack!

Good looking weapon too... synthetic stock, stainless barrel and receiver... what caliber are we talking about there?

Nice setup. Do you also have the regular gun mount and case on the side? I have the XP 850 LE Nuclear Sunset. I will put the clamps for my shotgun on the rear rack extender. It has a short barrel. I will also get the side mount and case for my rifle. Too bad they don't make a double holder for the side. I hate to carry a gun that way through heavy bush.

no i wish i could go that route but my barrel length on my rifle is 28 inches it wont fit in a gun boot. but the mount i put on you can leave the guns in the soft cases and they fit. i only had the gun out for the pic i would never ride with it out of the case. too much dust and mud!!!

Are you sure your rifle won't fit in a gun boot because I have a Remington pump 30-06 with scope and it fits just fine in any gun boot. Where we hunt the dust isn't too bad and I drive around with my 12 gauge out of the case in the mount similar to yours. I need to be able to access it quickly for partridge.

Thumbs up

i am not sure but my gun is almost 49" long. i had a custom barrel built for it. i do know that it would no longer fit in my hard sided gun case. if you happen to have some extra time maybe you could measure your gun boot and let me know. thanks

Tundra: Nice to hear of somebody else carrying a shotgun for birds. I'm in Maine and we have some fantastic grouse hunting. Where you at?
