250r Pipe

I just got a 250r a couple days ago and it has a dg pipe and silencer on it... i was wondering is dg a ok pipe ? i have herd that dg isnt too good, so i was going to just this pipe and get another on i was thinking about CT but im not sure yet so if anyone can help me out and tell me what the best pipe is for a 250r for racing mx and maybe a couple hare scrambles.... thanks

DG is OK. I like the CT stuff better. (see my post under "250R's cost too much). They make a whale pipe and a regular pipe, one for more low end torque and one for more top end. If you are only gonna go with a pipe though and not other mods, the DG is probably fine....

Ride with what you have for awhile. You may like it just fine.
Any pipe that flows the exhust out the back without leaks is working.
You gotta decide what you like. If, after awhile, you decide you want a change, check to see what friends are using, get a little ride on their's, see how it goes.
I wouldn't start planning on spending money until you see how your machine reacts and how you like it. I, personally, really like my FMF pipe/silencer, but that's me. I rode for over a year with a Trinity pipe before I finally changed.
Just take a little time.
