Default KLF220 - Battery issues

Hi, I have a KLF 220, which is maybe 12-14 yeras old. I inherited it apprx 1.5 yrs ago. The battery in it doesn't like it if you don't use it every week / do a lot of stop start work.

Does anyone know if I can get a battery with a higher capacity than 11ah to fit in it?

Failing which do you know how I could get more life out of a 11ah battery? There is no power in the garage so a maintenence charger is out of the question.

It gets used for light utility - towing trailers and moving batteries mainly. It rarely runs for more than 1/2 an hour.

1. yes the charger works.
2. the bat is fairly old, but it has been the same its entire life.
3. at times something in the starting mechanism seems to go thunk, and bind.
