Default 2004.5 500 HO rear castle nut size

I'm going to tackle the rear wheel bearings but didn't get too far.

What size is the rear castle nut? I have a 26mm socket, but no such luck. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Not sure on the size myself. Have you contacted the service dept. at your Polaris dealer? I'm sure they could tell you. I get little tips from the folks at mine a lot.

thanks. i have a 1 1/8 wrench, but it's too big...and the 1 1/16 is too small, but I'll try that socket.
