tire prices

Thumbs down tire prices

has anyone been pricing new tires this year? i was going to get a new set of 27" for my 08 sportsman. but the price has jumped by about 40% over last year. i'm in northern ontario canada.is this the same jump for all areas canada or us.as far as i'm concered they have priced me out of the market. just wondering what everyone else thinks.

I just paid about $650.00 taxes in for 4 Terracross tires 25 inch mounted on my stock steel rims .

did you try online or local? havent priced any this year my self but a few have found soem deals on line.

that sounds about the same price i got. last year $610 taxes in for 4 27" on rims.this year it's $894 taxes in.

I just bought 4 28" Zillas for 14" rims for 470$ installed!

I've been lookin at either the Zilla's for $328 shipped, or XTR's for $479, I like the Zilla's but they're bias ply, and I'm afraid I'll miss the radial ride, and the durability

you will miss the radial ride if went w/ them vs. the xtr's.

did you notice much of a change when you put your spring in, or did you put your tires and spring on at the same time? if you did them both, did you notice any change in power from the stock to the XTR's with the spring?

If u are running 25" tires check out MotoAlliance.com I like their Viper Cross tires...un forunatly they only offer 2 sizes(25x8-12 front AND 25x10-12 rear) cost for all 4....$190 shipped. They look like some nice tires. Check em out. these will be my next set !!!
