I have a 2007 500 X2 EFI . Runs great but will not start or idle without giving it a little gas. Any ideas? Can the idle be set up a little without putting in on an analizer?

 

Might try to adjust slack in throttle cable,adjuster in rubber boot just below throttle housing. Must have 1/8" maximum slack at thumb throttle. Could be source of non idle issue. If idles ok,check that idle DOESNT go up when you turn bars side to side. If this doesnt help with idle then could be short in sensor(s) harness.

 

if its not the cable adjusting, then a dealer needs to put it on a computer to reset the idle right?
