carb leaking

hi just bought a kawasaki 110 and the gas leaks out the overflow it will run but sputters cause the gas is too much could i get some ideas what it is and how to fix it thanks

Your carb float is probably bad. Pull the bowl off and see if the float has fuel in it.

Needle and seat that operates the float are bad.
